1 Purifier Overview
(1) The integrated iron and manganese removal equipment is an integrated water treatment unit integrating aeration, catalytic oxidation, filtration, automatic backwashing and automatic control.
(2) It is specially designed to treat groundwater/well water with excessive dissolved ferrous iron and bivalent manganese, replacing the traditional separate aeration tower + manganese sand filter tank process.
(3) It features a small footprint and fully automatic operation, with effluent complying with the WHO Guideline Limits, US EPA Secondary Drinking Water Standards for Groundwater, EU Drinking Water Directive 98/83/EC, Indian IS National Standards and other relevant criteria.
2 Technical Features
(1) Applicable for raw water with Fe²⁺ ≤ 10 mg/L and Mn²⁺ ≤ 3 mg/L; two-stage series connection required for ultra-high concentration water (Fe > 15 mg/L).
(2) Jet aeration / blast aeration to oxygenate water, maintaining dissolved oxygen (DO) ≥ 2 mg/L.
(3) Tank filled with high-purity manganese sand filter media, with active filter membranes (FeO(OH), MnO₂) formed on the surface to accelerate oxidation reaction.
(4) PLC-controlled automatic air washing + water washing to flush filter media and discharge sewage.

(4) Simultaneous removal of iron and manganese, stable effluent compliance under low temperature and fluctuating raw water quality conditions.
