Process Integration: Water Purification Processes in Modular Small-Scale Water Treatment Plants

Modular small-scale water treatment plants highly integrate conventional water purification processes into standardized modules, forming a complete water treatment process.

Modular small-scale water treatment plants highly integrate conventional water purification processes into standardized modules, forming a complete water treatment process.

Conventional Treatment Processes: Typical modular water treatment plants integrate the entire process sequence, including mixing, flocculation, sedimentation, filtration, disinfection, and sludge discharge. Raw water flows sequentially through each functional module, completing the entire process from coagulation and flocculation to the output of treated water. Some products are constructed of stainless steel, featuring a compact design, excellent sealing performance, and zero leakage.

Upgraded Membrane Treatment Process: Building upon conventional treatment, some modular water treatment plants employ submerged ultrafiltration membrane filtration as their core process. Tens of thousands of hollow-fiber ultrafiltration membrane filaments are integrated into membrane modules, capable of removing nearly all suspended solids, colloids, and some macromolecular organic compounds from the water. The treated water produced by the system can be directly used for industrial or domestic purposes.

Intelligent Control: Modular water treatment plants are equipped with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to enable full-process automated control, featuring functions such as remote monitoring, adjustment of operating parameters, fault alarms, and statistical data analysis. Some systems also integrate AI agents to enable autonomous operation, allowing distributed sites to operate unmanned or with minimal staff.
